Character's Name: Linali Li Age: 16 Gender: Female Physical Description: Linali has long, straight black hair that almost reaches to her waist. (It is green in the anime, but I'm sticking to the manga) It is normally tied up into two ponytails at the top of her head, with longer bangs brushed to the side of her face. She is very pale skinned, and has large, expressive chocolate, almond-shaped eyes framed by long lashes. Linali is a very slim girl, almost frail-looking if you didn't know better. She stands at 166 cm(5 ft 5 inches), and has very long legs. As for attire, she's a fairly normal teenage girl in terms of dress. She likes cute clothes, especially short, flippy skirts. She wears the same pair of black, knee-high leather boots every single day, even before she knew that they were her Innocence. They had been her mother's boots. Personality: If one word were to be chosen to describe Linali, it would be loyal. She is fiercely devoted to her friends, and her brother, and would do anything to protect them. To her, they are literally 'her world', and if anything ever happened to any of them, her world would crumble. Linali has the tendency to become emotional at times, although she always has a very good reason for this. She cries only for her friends and her family's sakes. Despite that, she is also a stable and reliable girl. Linali is always willing to help out a friend in need. She is normally a happy, cheery girl, but tends to be quiet and solemn when depressed. She also has quite the feisty and quick temper, especially when her friends are concerned. For example, she yelled at Jasdero and Debitto for harming Allen in the Ark, even though it earned her a punch in the face because of it. She's the type of girl that would do anything to help someone, even a complete stranger. As for her emotions, she'll hide everything she's feeling inside herself. Perhaps others might catch just the slightest glimpse of her sorrow or depression. Eyes cast downwards, or maybe even the glint of a tear. But she'll never willingly show what she's feeling, because it wouldn't do for others to be bothered by it, right? Innocence: Dark Boots Her innocence has been crafted into a pair of knee-high black leather boots. She never takes them off. The boots greatly increase the speed and strength in her legs. She can use four techniques using them: -Enbu, Kirikaze Waltz, Mist Wind By quickly kicking up her legs, Linali can manipulate the winds and send small cyclones at her enemies. -Otokase Sound Shackles She uses sound waves to step across the sky. This move allows her to break the sound barrier. -Mizukase Water Shackles Linali can step onto the surface of water. -Tetsukase Iron Shackles Her ultimate move. This can only be achieved by pushing her Innocence to the limit. Her Dark Boots become a large blade attached to her legs. She uses gravity as an advantage. This move was only displayed once, in her fight with the Level 3 Akuma, Eshi. |

Her parents were killed by Akuma when she was very young. It scares her at times when she realizes that she can't even remember their faces anymore. The only thing she remembers are the screams, and being hurriedly rushed out of the room by her brother. The blood on the floor. The flashes of crimson on pale skin. That's about the extent of her memory. She didn't know about Akuma, back then. All she knew was that her parents weren't there anymore, and that they weren't coming back. She still had her brother, Komui, and yet he was still young as well. The social wokers deemed him too young to be taking care of his little sister. She was dragged, kicking and screaming to an Orphanage. It must've seemed like a prison to her. Unable to leave, unable to even see her brother anymore. She was not a cooperative child, then. For a period of time, Linali went through an emotionless phase. She refused to talk to anyone, refused to eat. The orphanage staff were becoming increasingly more worried about her behavior. Things all came to a climax when she tried to jump out of the 14th story window. They had no choice. She was locked in a small room by herself, until they could figure out what to do with her. Linali cried, she screamed, she smashed her small fists against the door until they bled. She only cried for her brother. One day she awoke with her brother sitting by her bed. He'd come to work at the orphanage, just to be able to be close to her. Her scars faded, and her vivacity returned. Linali became the happy, cheerful girl she once had been. She had lived at the orphanage for most of her life, helping out with the younger kids and with the cleaning. This place no longer seemed like a prison, but a home. Hers. |
